Famous Bollywood actress Neena Gupta recently faced a lot of trouble while traveling in a flight with her two and a half year old granddaughter Matara. Neena expressed her pain in the video and how she and her granddaughter faced trouble because of a ticket. Neena told that she was going to Goa with her granddaughter and then she was asked to buy a ticket for Matara. he/she said that now it is necessary to book tickets for small children in airplanes. Although a seat is not available, a small fee is charged and some documents like date of birth certificate have to be shown. Neena says that, during the return from Goa, when she had to come by Air India flight, when she went to the counter before the flight, she was told that her younger granddaughter could not go because as per the rules, she was less than two years of age. Children are considered infants. Even though “child’s age and date of birth” was written on his/her ticket, he/she still could not check in.
To take her granddaughter along, she was asked to cancel her first ticket and book a new one. Neena further said that in India no one generally uses the word ‘child’. We call children small or big. he/she made this video to spread awareness among the people, so that you can be careful while traveling with small children.
