Actress accused Malayalam actor Baburaj of sexual harassment, told the story of that night

Malayalam actor and producer Baburaj has been accused of sexual harassment by a junior artist. After this, a controversy has erupted in the film industry. The woman alleges that the incident took place at the actor’s house in Aluva. Where she was called on the pretext of discussing a role in a film. According to her, when she reached there, she saw that only Baburaj and his/her assistant were present there. Whereas the actor had said that the director, script writer and production controller would also be present at the house. Describing that horrific scene in the statement, the actress has claimed that later Baburaj entered the room where she was resting. During this, he/she used obscene language and sexually abused her. According to the woman, ‘When I reached his/her house, only Baburaj and his/her assistant were there. he/she gave me a room to rest, however, after a while he/she knocked on the door. When I opened the door, he/she entered the room and closed the door, used some abusive words and pounced on me and sexually abused me. I did not complain to anyone then because he/she is a famous actor and I did not get anyone’s support.

Malayalam actress did not complain due to fear

She further alleged that such abuse is common in the film industry. Women are often asked if they are willing to compromise for a role. The woman, who is also an actress, said that she did not immediately lodge a complaint against Baburaj due to fear as she felt that no one supports women who are victims of such incidents. But later she spoke to the DCP of Kochi, who advised her to complain. But despite this, she did not take any legal action at that time.

Actor Baburaj called the allegations a conspiracy

At the same time, Baburaj has denied all these allegations. he/she says that he/she has not done anything like this. he/she will now take legal action against the complainant. The actor said that the actress must have been working in his/her resort and she is making these allegations to defame him/her. This is her trick. he/she also said that he/she is a candidate for the post of General Secretary in the Malayalam Movie Artists Association (AMMA) and in such a situation this could also be a conspiracy of the opposition.
