New Delhi: Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge on Wednesday expressed grief over the death of several people in the train accident following rumors of fire in the Pushpak Express train. he/she said that action should be taken against those spreading rumours. Appropriate compensation should be given to the affected families. Following rumors of fire in a train in Maharashtra’s Jalgaon on Wednesday evening, some passengers walked on the tracks. Many of these passengers were hit by another train coming from the opposite direction on the track. 12 people died in this accident.

Congress President expressed grief over the accident

Congress President Kharge posted on ‘X’, ‘The news of death of many people due to rumor of fire in Pushpak Express in Jalgaon, Maharashtra is very painful. Many people have also been injured. Our deepest condolences to the bereaved families of the victims, we pray for the peace of the departed souls. Praying for speedy recovery of the injured.

‘Strict action should be taken against those spreading rumors in trains’

Mallikarjun Kharge further said that the government and administration are requested to provide immediate and appropriate compensation to the victims. Strict legal action should be taken against the culprits spreading rumours. There is an appeal to Congress leaders and workers to provide all possible assistance to the affected families in this hour of grief.

Amit Shah spoke to the CM of Maharashtra

Union Home Minister Amit Shah spoke to Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis regarding the Jalgaon train accident. he/she took information about the train accident that took place in Jalgaon district of Maharashtra. Shah said in a post on ‘X’, ‘The train accident in Jalgaon, Maharashtra is extremely sad. In this regard, he/she talked to Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis and got information about the accident.

CM Yogi also expressed condolences

Home Minister Shah said that the local administration is providing all possible help to the injured. I express my deepest condolences to the families of those who lost their lives in this accident and pray for the speedy recovery of the injured. Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath also expressed condolences to the families of the deceased and wished for the speedy recovery of the injured.
