[ad_1] New Delhi: After the order of the Supreme Court, a National Task Force has been formed for the safety of doctors, the date of its first meeting has also been decided. It is being told that the first meeting of the task force has been called on 27 August at 11.30 am, in which expert doctors will give their opinion. The protesting doctors have also ended their protest on Friday and now the government is also taking swift action on the issue of safety of doctors. Just a day ago, the Union Health Ministry had issued a notification regarding the formation of the task force and a notice is also being issued regarding the first meeting.What will happen in the task force meeting?The Union Health Ministry has issued an official order regarding the formation of a 14-member task force. According to the information, the opinion of the experts and doctors nominated by the Supreme Court for the task force will be heard and on that basis it will be decided who will be called for discussion. Various doctor associations, medical associations, resident doctors associations will also present their views. The current situation in the hospitals will be reviewed. It will also be decided how to improve the current situation and recommendations will be made on what concrete measures are to be taken for the safety of doctors. This task force will submit an interim report in three weeks and as per the instructions of the Supreme Court, it will submit the final report in two months. Union Health Secretary Apoorva Chandra has also discussed with many doctors' associations in the past and heard their opinions. Those suggestions will also be discussed in the meeting.Safe environmentThe task force has to recommend measures for the safety, working conditions and betterment of medical professionals. The Health Ministry has also issued several orders regarding the safety of doctors in central hospitals. The ministry will look into all those suggestions and every aspect will be discussed in the first meeting. The biggest target before the ministry is how to provide a safe environment to doctors and medical staff in every hospital in the country and identify and remove any shortcomings. The task force will prepare its action plan and on that basis, a series of major changes will begin in hospitals and medical institutions. [ad_2]
