Accused who threatened Akshara Singh arrested in Bhojpur, police said – no evidence of extortion found


After Salman Khan and Shahrukh Khan, now Bhojpuri actress Akshara Singh had received death threats. An extortion amount of Rs 50 lakh was demanded from him/her. The person who had called Akshara has been arrested by the police. The surprising thing is that the police say that no evidence of extortion has been found in the investigation. Read the report. Patna’s Danapur SDPO Bhanu Pratap confirmed, ‘A complaint was lodged by actress Akshra Singh, in which it was said that extortion was demanded from her through an unknown call. At the same time they have been threatened and intimidated through calls. So an FIR was immediately registered in this regard by Danapur police station and after this the police started investigation.

SDPO Bhanu Pratap further said, ‘If the person making the call from the number from which Akshara Singh had received the call was traced, his/her name is Kundan Kumar Singh, who is a resident of Arrah. When the police interrogated him/her, it came to light that two cases were registered against this person in the past also. In 2019, he/she went to jail after drinking alcohol. In the second case, he/she has gone to jail under the Arms Act. When he/she was arrested recently, a foul smell like alcohol was coming from his/her mouth. Upon testing, it was found that he/she had consumed alcohol. An FIR is being filed for this also.

Police did not find any evidence of extortion during interrogation

Police further said, ‘The call he/she made and the investigation did not find any evidence that extortion was demanded. It has been confirmed that Kundan had made the call. he/she is caught and arrested. Action is being taken in this matter.

On November 11, a call came from two unknown numbers.

Akshara Singh’s father Bipin Singh told PTI over phone, ‘She (Akshara) had received a call from two unknown numbers on November 11 and the caller threatened her, abused her and extorted Rs 50 lakh from her. Asked for. The man threatened to kill Akshara if she did not pay the money within two days. We immediately lodged a complaint at the local police station.
