Abhishek’s century increased Shubman’s headache, who will be out of the playing XI for Sanju-Shivam-Yashasvi

New Delhi. Rohit Sharma does not like frequent changes in the team. But Shubman Gill does not have this option. This young captain of Team India has been forced to change the playing eleven after just 2 matches. That too to change the playing eleven, which has registered a huge victory of 100 runs. There is every possibility that Shubman Gill will have to drop at least 2 or 3 players from this winning team.

Sanju-Shivam-Yashasvi returned to the team
Captain Shubman Gill has got this headache of changing the playing eleven after Sanju Samson, Yashasvi Jaiswal and Shivam Dubey reached Zimbabwe. These three players were members of the T20 World Cup winning team. All three returned home first after becoming world champions. After the welcome ceremony in India, all three have now reached Zimbabwe.

Players will have to be removed from the winning team
When India defeated Zimbabwe by 100 runs on July 7, Sanju Samson, Yashasvi Jaiswal and Shivam Dubey were present there. However, it was already decided that these three would not play the second match of the series. All three have to play from the third T20 match itself. This means that captain Shubman Gill will now either have to drop at least three players from his/her winning team or put these ‘world champion’ players on the bench.

Pressure to change playing eleven
Sanju Samson and Yashasvi Jaiswal did not get a chance to play in the T20 World Cup as well. For this reason, there will be pressure on captain Shubman Gill and interim coach VVS Laxman to include both of them in the playing eleven. All-rounder Shivam Dubey balances the team, so it will be beneficial to include him/her in the playing eleven.

Sanju Samson can replace Dhruv
If we look at the Indian playing XI in the second match, it seems that Sanju Samson can replace Dhruv Jurel. Similarly, Shivam Dubey can be included in the playing XI in place of Sai Sudarshan. But Shubman will have to work hardest to make a place in the top order for Yashasvi Jaiswal.

Fight in the top order
In the current series against Zimbabwe, captain Shubman Gill and Abhishek Sharma are opening. Abhishek scored a century in the second match. At number three is Rituraj Gaikwad, who played an unbeaten innings of 77 runs in the second match. All three of them are sure to play in the third T20 match. In such a situation, it is possible that Riyan Parag may have to sit out of the playing XI to make room for Yashasvi Jaiswal. One equation also says that India should make only two changes in its playing XI. Shivam Dubey should be given rest for one or two matches and Sanju and Yashasvi should be fielded in place of Dhruv and Sai Sudarshan.

India’s probable playing XI: Abhishek Sharma, Yashasvi Jaiswal, Shubman Gill (captain), Rituraj Gaikwad, Shivam Dubey, Sanju Samson, Rinku Singh, Washington Sundar, Ravi Bishnoi, Avesh Khan and Mukesh Kumar.
