Abhishek was not nominated for the ICC Award.
New Delhi. Not young opener Abhishek Sharma but spinner Varun Chakraborty has been nominated for the ICC Player of the Month Award for the month of January. Varun recently bowled brilliantly in the domestic T20 series against England while Abhishek had a century in the fifth T20 Rooted and made many records in his/her name. Yuvraj Singh trains the left -handed young batsman Abhishek Sharma. Chakravarti took 14 wickets in five matches at a brilliant average of 9.85 and the economy rate of 7.66.
Varun Chakravarthy made a significant contribution in winning T20 World Champion India 4–1. The England batsmen were struggling to understand his/her spin throughout the series. West Indies spinner Joler Warikan has also been nominated in the men’s category. he/she helped his/her team draw a two -match Test series against Pakistan. Left -arm spinner Warikan was elected the best player of the series against Pakistan. he/she was the best bowler of the series with 19 wickets.
Noman Ali of Pakistan is also in the race for this award. he/she took 16 wickets in the series against the West Indies. Recently, Indian opener Gongadi Trisha, who was the best player of the tournament during the ICC Women’s Under-19 T20 World Cup, has been nominated for the award in the women’s category. Trisha was the highest run -scorer in the tournament with 309 runs. She also became the first player to score a century in this competition. India won the title for the second consecutive time thanks to his/her brilliant performance.
Abhishek fifty fifty in the fifth T20 while scoring a century from 37 balls. he/she scored the second fastest fifty in T20 I for India. With this, Abhishek’s role model is Yuvraj Singh at number one in the case, he/she scored a half-century at 12 balls in the 2007 T20 World Cup against England. Abhishek also scored the second fastest century in T20. Rohit has a century off 35 balls.
