Abhishek Bachchan pointed towards his/her slim body and said – this is real, not prosthetic

Abhishek Bachchan recently talked about his/her experiences of working with director Shoojit Sircar in his/her film ‘I Want to Talk’. Shoojit, known for making films like ‘Piku’, is famous for creating deep, meaningful stories. Abhishek told that working with him/her was a special experience which has changed him/her in many ways.
At the music launch of ‘I Want to Talk’, Abhishek talked about his/her role and the physical changes he/she underwent for the film. he/she told that it was a privilege for him/her to work with Shoojit. he/she said, ‘There is always a long line of people outside his/her office because the experience of making a film with him/her is very transformative. Not just physically, but also with what you see.

he/she pointed towards the poster of the film, in which his/her stomach is seen to be quite enlarged. he/she said, ‘I am not in this shape now.’ he/she confirmed that the stomach shown in the poster is real, not prosthetic and revealed that he/she had gained weight for the role. Abhishek described the experience as ‘life changing’ and said, ‘But it has been a learning experience. It has been life-changing and I hope we have managed to make some difference to the two, three hours you spend in the cinema or watching a film. we work hard. This is a very honest effort.

‘Sometimes it’s good to stop and feel the emotions’

Abhishek also praised Shoojit’s unique style of film making. he/she told that Shoojit’s style is very different from the common commercial films in the industry. he/she called it ‘a breath of fresh air’. he/she said that instead of watching a film mindlessly, sometimes it is better to stop and feel the emotions.

Releasing worldwide on 22nd November

Abhishek also told that the film has a personal meaning for Shoojit. he/she told that the story is based on a very dear friend of his/her. he/she is eagerly waiting for this film of his/her honest efforts, which is releasing worldwide on 22nd November.
