This famous quote was said by the 11th President of India, Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam. Today is 15th October and on this day this great scientist of India was born on the soil of the country. Abdul Kalam’s love and faith in the young generation of India and beyond is not hidden from anyone. Every year on 15 October, ‘World Students Day’ is also celebrated in the country and across the world in the honor of Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam. It was the United Nations that gave approval to celebrate Dr. Kalam’s birthday, 15 October, as World Students Day.Devoted his/her whole life for the upliftment of students
Dr. Kalam, popularly known as the President, dedicated much of his/her life to inspiring and guiding young students, and his/her passion for teaching and learning left a deep impact on India and beyond. he/she was known for his/her humility, belief in the potential of the younger generation, and his/her encouragement of science and education as a path to national development.

always had a desire to learn
Dr. Kalam was born on October 15, 1931 in a Tamil Muslim family on Pamban Island in Rameshwaram. Pamban Island was then in Madras Presidency and is now in Tamil Nadu. Although Dr. Kalam had average grades in his/her school years, he/she was always a bright and hard-working student, with a strong desire to learn. he/she spent most of his/her time studying, especially mathematics.

Dr. Kalam received several awards during his/her lifetime, including the Padma Bhushan in 1981, the Padma Vibhushan in 1990, and the Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) and the Defense Research and Development Organization (DRDO) for his/her contributions to the field of research and science. Bharat Ratna is included for this. The renowned scientist and teacher died in 2015 following a cardiac arrest while delivering a speech at the Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Shillong.
