On the issue of disqualification of Rahul Gandhi from the membership of Parliament, Nitin Gadkari said, ‘BJP or Modi ji did not terminate his/her membership. This was the decision of the court. It would not be fair to blame us. The rest is politics. When I was the party president, we were in the opposition. We did not allow the House to function for two-three months. The members used to behave in the same way as they are behaving now. Atalji had said, parties will come and go, leaders will come and go, Prime Minister will change, the people of this country are sovereign, democracy is paramount, the country should move forward.
