Aamir Khan arrives to bid farewell to Ratan Tata, joins hands with ex-wife Kiran, bows his/her head and pays respects

Veteran businessman and Tata Sons chairman Ratan Tata died on Wednesday at the age of 86. he/she was admitted to Breach Candy Hospital in Mumbai on Monday after a sudden drop in blood pressure and was in critical condition in the ICU. his/her mortal remains were kept at the National Center for the Performing Arts (NCPA) lawn in Nariman Point, where a large number of people, including actor Aamir Khan and his/her ex-wife Kiran Rao, gathered to pay their last respects, just days before his/her demise. Earlier, Ratan Tata had posted on social media about concerns regarding his/her health. In a message posted on Monday, October 7, he/she urged people not to speculate about his/her hospitalization, adding that he/she was being examined for age-related conditions.

Aamir Khan paid tribute

In a video shared by ANI, Aamir Khan and Kiran Rao were seen joining hands among the mourners to express their condolences. Both were looking very emotional. Aamir bowed and paid respect to Ratan Tata. The Tata family confirmed Ratan Tata’s demise through an announcement on the Tata Group’s X handle, expressing gratitude for the love and respect of all who praised him/her. “Although he/she is no longer with us in person, his/her legacy of humility, generosity and purpose will continue to inspire future generations,” the statement said.

Parents divorce at age 10

Ratan Tata was adopted by his/her grandparents at the age of 10 after his/her parents divorced. he/she earned a bachelor’s degree in architecture from Cornell University College of Architecture. he/she first joined the business in 1961, where he/she worked on the shop floor of Tata Steel.
