The postal department has decided to form a team of postmen as part of the new initiative, who will link the mobile number or update the mobile number with the Aadhaar of the people. This facility will be available in all the districts of Uttar Pradesh. Postmen will provide this facility at people’s homes.
People will be greatly benefited by this initiative of the postal department. Currently, they have to stand in long queues at banks and Aadhaar correction centers to get their Aadhaar updated. India Post Payments Bank has started this facility in all branch post offices of Prayagraj Division.

Senior Superintendent of Posts (SSP) Sanjay D Akhara said that the mobile updation service will be provided through the IPPB branch. In Prayagraj and Kaushambi districts, more than 350 Gramin Dak Sevaks will provide this facility.
