What is the story of ‘Murder in Mahim’?

Although this is a fictional story, it is inspired by a crime incident that happened in Mumbai. This series is based on the crime novel of the same name released in 2017. In the series, Ashutosh Rana was seen in the role of a professor, while Vijay Raj played the role of a police inspector. The story starts from a railway station named Mahim. There, Kati-Pilash is found in a bathroom, which creates a sensation. Police Inspector Shivajirao Jende i.e. Vijayraj gets involved in the investigation of this murder.
