A cricketer, who had two fingers missing, became the world’s star bowler, even Kapil Dev could not stand him/her.


New Delhi. Many cricketers of the world were able to play cricket despite being victims of accidents. When former Pakistani fast bowler Aja Azeem Hafeez was born in childhood, he/she was missing two fingers on his/her right hand. When he/she started growing up, he/she developed a desire to become a cricketer. Despite having no fingers, he/she was successful in becoming a cricketer. Even Kapil Dev could not stand in front of him/her.

Aja Azim Hafeez of Pakistan was born on 29 July 1963 in Jhelum. Despite being born without three fingers on his/her right hand, Hafeez was successful in becoming a bowler. he/she was known for his/her swing. Hafeez first started playing cricket at inter and club level. he/she also used to do excellent fielding since that time. Due to which he/she also got a place in the Pakistan team.

Aja Hafeez got the opportunity to play for Pakistan for the first time in the year 1983 in the ODI against India on 10 September. he/she took one wicket in that match. Hafeez had taken the wicket of Indian legend Kapil Dev. Hafeez had Kapil caught out by Mohsin Khan.

he/she also made his/her Test debut against India. After 4 days i.e. on 14 September, he/she got a chance to debut in the Test. In the first innings, he/she once again got Kapil Dev caught out by Mohsin Khan. Apart from this, he/she also took the wicket of Indian legend Madan Lal. Let us tell you that Azim played a total of 18 Tests and 15 ODIs for Pakistan. During this period he/she had taken 63 and 15 wickets in his/her name. he/she failed to show excellence with the bat.
