Along with the continuously increasing cold, the weather of the entire NCR including Delhi has also remained clear, due to which a sharp decline in mercury is being recorded.

Severe winter in many areas of Rajasthan

Severe winter continues in many areas of Rajasthan and the minimum temperature is being recorded below zero in Fatehpur. The Meteorological Department gave this information. According to the Meteorological Department, the lowest minimum temperature in the last 24 hours was recorded at Fatehpur in Sikar at minus 1.3 degrees.

Apart from this, the minimum temperature was recorded at 1.9 degrees in Karauli, 2.4 degrees in Churu, 2.6 degrees in Bhilwara, 3.0 degrees in Sirohi, 3.2 degrees in Chittorgarh, 4.0 degrees in Pilani, 4.5 degrees in Jaipur and 4.9 degrees in Sangriya. The weather in the state remained mainly dry in the last 24 hours. Cold to extreme cold wave was recorded in many areas in the state.

Cold wave situation in West Bengal

Cold wave conditions are likely to persist in the western districts of West Bengal till December 15. According to the Meteorological Department, due to north-westerly and northern winds in the region, the minimum temperature is likely to be below normal in the districts of the state. The Meteorological Department said that till December 15, the minimum temperature in all other districts of the state is likely to be two to four degrees Celsius below normal. Cold wave conditions are likely to persist in Purulia, East and West Bardhaman, Birbhum, Bankura, Jhargram and West Midnapore districts till December 15.

Snowfall continues in Kashmir

Snowfall continues in the plains of Kashmir. The Meteorological Department has predicted cold wave at many places for the next four days. The officers provided this information. The Meteorological Department said that after snowfall in the high altitude areas and some plains in Kashmir, the night temperature in the valley was recorded a drop. According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of further decline in the minimum temperature in Kashmir Valley. Also, there will be cold wave conditions at many places during the next four days. The Meteorological Department has predicted the weather to remain mainly dry till December 21.
