‘Pushpa 2’ star Allu Arjun was arrested by Hyderabad Police on December 13 and has now been sent to judicial custody for 14 days. This action has been taken in the case of death of a woman in the stampede during the premiere of his/her film ‘Pushpa 2’. Allu Arjun has been made an accused in the death of the woman. A case of culpable homicide has also been registered against him/her. On December 4, a woman died and her son was seriously injured in a stampede at Sandhya Theater in Hyderabad. The police detained Allu Arjun from his/her home and then his/her statement was also recorded.What is the whole matter, under which sections the case was registered against Allu Arjun and what happened till his/her arrest and 14 days in jail, know the complete timeline here:

1. Where was Allu Arjun arrested from?

Allu Arjun was detained by the police from his/her house. he/she was then brought to Chikkadpally police station, where he/she was interrogated and his/her statement was recorded. After this he/she was taken to Osmania Hospital for medical checkup.

2. Allu Arjun jailed for 14 days

After medical checkup, Allu Arjun was produced in Nampally Court, where he/she was sent to judicial custody for 14 days after hearing. During cross-examination in the court, when the government lawyer said that the actor knew that some untoward incident could happen if he/she went to the theatre, the judge said that Allu Arjun is an actor and he/she had gone there with permission.

3. What is the whole matter?

There was a screening of ‘Pushpa 2’ at Sandhya Theater on 4th December and it is being said that Allu Arjun reached the theater without informing anyone. A huge crowd had already gathered there to watch the film. There was a stampede there to see the actor. Fans started trying to enter the theater in large numbers to get a glimpse of Allu Arjun. Due to this people started having trouble breathing. There was a stampede there. The police also resorted to lathicharge to control the crowd. But many people became unconscious due to suffocation and were admitted to the hospital. There the doctors declared a woman dead and stated that the son’s condition was critical.

4. Revathi and son got buried in the crowd

The name of the deceased woman is Revathi, who was 39 years old. She had gone to watch ‘Pushpa 2’ with her husband and two children – daughter Sanvika and son Sritej. Suddenly Allu Arjun reached there and Revati and her son got buried in the scuffle of the people. They became unconscious and the police immediately took both of them to the hospital. The mother died, but the son was saved.

5.What sections were imposed on Allu Arjun? And case registered against whom?

In the case of woman’s death in the stampede, the family of the deceased lodged a complaint in the police station. On the basis of this complaint, a case has been registered against Allu Arjun, his/her security agency and the owner of the theater under sections 105 (culpable homicide not amounting to murder) and 118 (1) (voluntarily causing hurt) of the IPC and section 3 (5) of the BNS, Chikkadpally. A case was registered in the police station. The sections imposed on Allu Arjun are non-bailable sections.

6. Allu Arjun had announced help of Rs 25 lakh

Allu Arjun had expressed deep grief over this accident and announced an assistance of Rs 25 lakh to the family. Allu Arjun shared a video on his/her X handle. In this he/she had said that he/she is hurt by the death of the woman and is always standing to help her family.

7. Dead woman’s husband demands action, Allu Arjun was held responsible

While talking to ‘ETimes’, the deceased woman’s husband Bhaskar had held Allu Arjun responsible for this incident. he/she had said that if Allu Arjun and his/her team had already informed the police and theater people about their arrival, this accident would not have happened. Bhaskar had also said that action should be initiated on this incident. What happened to them should not happen to anyone else.

8. 3 people including the theater owner were arrested

Chikkadpally police arrested three people in this case. These included the names of theater owner Sandeep, theater manager Nagaraju and balcony supervisor. All three were sent to judicial custody after being produced in the court.

9. Section 105 on Allu Arjun, provision for life imprisonment also

Now Allu Arjun has been arrested. At the time of the actor’s arrest, wife Sneha Reddy started crying. his/her father-in-law also reached the police station. By the way, let us tell you that the case was registered against Allu Arjun under the two sections of BNS – 105 and 118 (1), there is a provision of life imprisonment. Under Section 105, Allu Arjun is accused of negligence and ignoring safety rules. There is a provision of life imprisonment or 5-10 years of jail for its violation.
