Is the trust in Rahul Gandhi waning, why is there so much uneasiness among the partner parties of INDIA alliance?

New Delhi: Is everything not going well in the India alliance? This question is also because many parties included in the INDIA alliance are raising questions one after the other on the leadership of Rahul Gandhi. Someone is raising direct questions on Rahul Gandhi while someone is raising questions on the opposition leader by saying that Mamata Banerjee is better. A big challenge has arisen before Rahul Gandhi in the midst of the winter session of Parliament. After what TMC said and Mamata Banerjee’s yes, many leaders have started feeling that Congress MP Rahul Gandhi’s insistence is not right. If we pay attention to the statements of the leaders of the parties included in the India Alliance, it seems that there is some uneasiness among them too.

Those with whom there was most discussion about coming, now they are the ones who have stayed away!

The most talked about in the Lok Sabha elections was the coming together of Congress and SP in UP. Rahul Gandhi and Akhilesh Yadav came together on many occasions and its effect was also visible in the results. After the Lok Sabha results, UP was discussed the most. Both Congress and SP were never tired of thanking the voters of UP. But now this thing has become old. The distance between SP and Congress seems to be increasing. In Maharashtra, SP announced separation from Mahavikas Aghadi, but before this, differences of opinion were clearly visible on the seating arrangement in Sambhal and Lok Sabha. While sharing the picture of Rahul Gandhi, a leader of SP, IP Singh wrote that he/she stubbornly It has been decided that they will not improve. SP MP Ram Gopal Yadav gave a statement on Rahul Gandhi. he/she said that Rahul Gandhi is not the leader of INDIA alliance. he/she said that anyone can say this, no one comes into politics as a saint. Everyone wants to get a position. Be it Lok Sabha elections or Assembly elections, Congress could not perform well.

Ready to lead if given a chance- Mamta

West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has expressed dissatisfaction with the functioning of the India Alliance and also hinted at taking charge of it if she gets a chance. The Trinamool Congress chief said she would be able to handle dual responsibilities with the leadership of the opposition front while continuing her role as Bengal chief minister. In an interview, he/she said that I had formed the India Alliance, now it is up to those leading the front to run it properly. If they can’t do it, what can I do? All I would say is that there is a need to take everyone along.

Asked why she was not taking charge of the alliance given her credentials as a strong anti-BJP force, Banerjee said, if given the opportunity, I will ensure its smooth functioning. Mamata Banerjee’s comments came days after her party MP Kalyan Banerjee called on Congress and other India alliance partners to keep aside their egos and recognize Mamata Banerjee as the leader of the opposition alliance.

These parties also raised questions on Congress

On recent developments within the opposition alliance, Communist Party of India (CPI) general secretary D Raja said Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge is the chairman of the alliance and should answer on the issues. However, he/she admitted that the Congress should be more generous towards its allies and do some serious introspection. Raja said, Congress will have to seriously introspect and consider why seats were not distributed properly in the assembly elections, where it suffered a crushing defeat.

Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has announced to contest the Delhi Assembly elections on its own and has also distanced itself from Congress. Uddhav Thackeray’s party is also targeting Congress through Saamana. The party, in an editorial in its mouthpiece Saamana, stressed the need to convince AAP chief Arvind Kejriwal to remain part of the India alliance. The editorial said that Mamata Banerjee is trying to do politics by keeping distance from Congress. Now Kejriwal is also going on the same path. In this regard, Congress needs to introspect and take steps for unity (of the opposition).
