Madhu Chopra said, ‘I don’t know, but was I a selfish mother? I still regret it. I still cry thinking about it. This was very difficult for me. But every Saturday she would leave her work, catch the train and go to meet Priyanka. This was causing problems for her as she was not able to adjust to boarding school.

‘She would wait for me, the teacher would say don’t come here’

Madhu Chopra further said, ‘She used to wait for my arrival on Saturday and I used to stay with her on Sunday. The whole week the teacher kept telling me to stop coming. You can’t come here.’
