New Delhi. The spin pair of R Ashwin and Ravindra Jadeja will be seen playing together in the IPL. Ashwin was bought by Chennai Super Kings for Rs 9.75 crore on the first day of IPL 2025 mega auction. Both the players will be seen together trapping the batsmen in the trap of spin for the same team. Apart from this, he/she will get the support of New Zealand’s emerging all-rounder Rachin Ravindra, whom CSK added for Rs 4 crore. CSK added Rachin under RTM card. Punjab Kings bid Rs 3.20 crore for this player. After which CSK used RTM to match Punjab’s Rs 4 crore.

Many players became rich on the first day of the two-day auction in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. Ashwin and Rachin have been part of CSK earlier also. Both have returned home. Before this, Ashwin had played for Rajasthan Royals in the last season. Ashwin has the ability to be an all-rounder
Even before the auction, it was being said that CSK would include him/her this time. The pair of Ashwin and Jadeja will be seen playing together for CSK in yellow jersey for the first time since 2015. Ashwin had earlier sold himself for CSK in a mock audition on his/her YouTube channel. 38 year old Ashwin made his/her debut in IPL in 2008. Ashwin is an all-rounder who can bat and bowl.

Ashwin has taken 180 wickets in 211 IPL matches. he/she also scored 800 runs. This off-spinner first came into limelight when Chennai Super Kings signed him/her. he/she impressed in the year 2010. he/she played an important role in CSK winning the trophy in 2010 and 2011. Ashwin spent six years in this franchise. After that he/she moved to Rising Pune Joint in 2016 when CSK was banned for two years. Ashwin reached Punjab from Pune where he/she captained in some matches. After this he/she played the last season for Rajasthan Royals.
