Isn’t Vaibhav Suryavanshi 13 years old, trapped because of his/her own interview?


New Delhi. In the mega auction of Indian Premier League 2025, Rajasthan Royals team bought Vaibhav Suryavanshi for Rs 1 crore 10 lakh. A controversy seems to be arising regarding this player who is said to be 13 years old. People have even accused him/her of age fraud. The matter is quite serious because Vaibhav himself had told his/her age in an interview, according to which he/she would be 15 years old at this time.

13-year-old Vaibhav Suryavanshi, who hails from Samastipur, Bihar, was in the news ever since he/she became the youngest player in the IPL auction. he/she is being discussed continuously after being bought by Rajasthan Royals in the mega auction. Rajasthan has added this young batsman with a base price of Rs 30 lakh by bidding Rs 1 crore ten lakh. Delhi Capitals had also bid to take this player in their team.

Vaibhav Suryavanshi did it in Ranji Trophy in January this year and then there was a controversy regarding his/her age. his/her old video of last year had surfaced in which Vaibhav was heard saying that he/she will turn 14 in September 2023. Since then there is controversy regarding his/her age. Vaibhav’s father Sanjeev Suryavanshi had given clarification regarding age fraud.

According to PTI, Sanjeev said, “Vaibhav has been undergoing BCCI’s bone test since he/she was 8 and a half years old. his/her debut has been made in India’s Under-19 team. We are not afraid of the ongoing talk about age. If needed, Vaibhav is ready to get it tested again.” Let us tell you that the real age of any player is determined through bone test.
