From Vaibhav to Rasikh… the uncapped players who became millionaires in the auction


New Delhi. The two-day event of IPL 2025 mega auction was held in Jeddah city of Saudi Arabia. Where many players became rich. 330 uncapped players were included in the auction, many of whom became millionaires overnight. The franchise showered money on him/her. 13 year old Vaibhav Suryavanshi, resident of Samastipur, Bihar, came to the IPL auction for the first time and became a millionaire. Rajasthan Royals added him/her for Rs 30 lakh. Rasikh Dar also became a rain of money, who was bought by Royal Challengers Bangalore for Rs 6 crore.

The base price of batsman Naman Dheer was Rs 30 lakh. Mumbai Indians bought him/her for Rs 5.25 crore while Gurjapaneet Singh was bought by Chennai Super Kings with a bid of Rs 2.2 crore. Delhi’s Priyansh Arya was bought by Punjab Kings for Rs 3.8 crore. Priyansh is an emerging explosive opener. Angkrish Raghuvanshi was bought by Kolkata Knight Riders for Rs 3 crore, while all-rounder Abdul Samad was bought by Lucknow Super Giants for Rs 4.20 crore.

Nehal Vadhera got 4.20 crores
Ashutosh Sharma, who performed well last season, was bought by Delhi Capitals for Rs 3.80 crore while his/her base price was Rs 30 lakh. All-rounder Nehal Wadhera got Rs 4.20 crore. Vadhera was bought by Punjab Kings. Abhinav Manohar was kept by Sunrisers Hyderabad for Rs 3.2 crores whose base price was Rs 30 lakhs. Harpreet Brar went to Punjab team for Rs 1.50 crore while Mahipal Lomror was given Rs 1.70 crore by Gujarat Titans. Akash Madhwal was bought by Rajasthan Royals for Rs 1.20 crore.

CSK bought Kamboj, who took 10 wickets in an innings.
Fast bowler Vijaykumar Vaishak was taken by Punjab Kings for Rs 1.80 crore, while Vaibhav Arora went to Kolkata team for Rs 1.80 crore. Simarjeet Singh went to Sunrisers Hyderabad for Rs 1.5 crore, while Yash Thakur came to Punjab for Rs 1.60 crore. Suyyash Sharma went to RCB team for 2.60 crores, while recently pacer Anshul Kamboj, who took all 10 wickets in an innings, was bought by CSK for 3.40 crores. Arshad Khan goes to Gujarat Titans for Rs 1.3 crore. Gurnur Brar was bought by Gujarat Titans for Rs 1.30 crore.
