Today Odisha has its own vision and road map… PM Modi said in Odisha festival

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi reached the Odisha festival function on Sunday. Addressing the function, he/she said that from the past till today, it is also visible to us how capable leadership Odisha has given to the country. Today Odisha’s daughter Draupadi Murmu is the President of India. This is a matter of great pride for all of us. Today, due to his/her inspiration, schemes worth thousands of crores of rupees have been started in India for tribal welfare. These schemes are not only benefiting the tribals of Odisha but of the entire country.

Ongoing efforts to take Odisha to new heights

PM Modi said, ‘The continuous efforts going on for 10 years to take Odisha to new heights are becoming the hope of a new future for Odisha. The unprecedented blessings of the people of Odisha in 2024 have given new courage to this hope. Today, connectivity, health and education works have been expedited across Eastern India.

‘Odisha is getting three times more budget’

he/she said that today Odisha is getting three times more budget than what the Central Government gave to Odisha 10 years ago. This year, 30 percent more budget has been given for the development of Odisha as compared to last year. We are working vigorously in every sector for the development of Odisha. Our government is committed to promoting ‘Ease of Doing Business’ in Odisha. Investment is being increased through Utkarsh, Utkal.

Investment approval within 100 days of government formation

The PM said, ‘As soon as the new government is formed in Odisha, investment worth Rs 45 thousand crore has been approved within the first 100 days. Today Odisha has its own vision and road map. In today’s modern era, we have to assimilate the modern changes and also strengthen our roots. Odisha festival can become a medium for this.

Prime Minister Modi said that today along with Odisha, there is a government in the country too, which respects the heritage and identity of Odisha. During the G20 conference held in India last year, we had presented the grand picture of the Sun Temple in front of so many heads of state and diplomats.
