JEE Main 2025: Today is the last day, 12 lakh registrations for JEE Main, expected to increase further.

NTA JEE Main Registration 2025 Last Date: Joint Entrance Examination (JEE Main) can be applied for the first phase examination to be held in January till Friday, 22 November 2024. According to the schedule released by the National Testing Agency (NTA), November 22 is the last date to apply for JEE Mains. Till now 11 lakh candidates have deposited the fees for the examination. While 12 lakh registrations have been done, many students who have applied have demanded correction in the online JEE application form. In view of this, NTA has decided that corrections can be made in the JEE form on 26 and 27 November. If there is any mistake in the candidate’s name, parents’ name, PAN number, city selection, medium of exam and date of birth, it can be corrected. There will be no change in mobile number, email address, photograph.

JEE Mains: Same numbers as last year

NTA officials say that more than one lakh applications are likely to come on the last day also. Like last year, this time too the number of applications seems to be the same.

Last year, there were 12,30,347 registrations for JEE Main Phase I exam. Of these, 95.8 percent (11,70,048 candidates) had given the exam. This time the speed of registration was slow in the beginning. Because students faced difficulties in filling the application form. This problem arose due to the names not being identical in the 10th class certificate, mark sheet and Aadhar card. The form was not being completed due to the difference in the spelling of the names written on both the documents. After this, NTA made minor amendments in the online application form of JEE Main.
