Pakistan: Baloch activist expressed anger over Mastung bomb blast




Baloch “pro-independence” leader Allah Nazar Baloch has expressed outrage over the recent bomb blast near a school in Mastung town of Balochistan.

Baloch described the attack as a “heinous crime against humanity” and a “cowardly act of terrorism”, the Balochistan Post reported.

“This horrific incident forces us to confront the uncivilized, cruel nature of an enemy that does not spare even our children,” he/she said. Furthermore, he/she expressed his/her condolences to the families affected by the bomb blast.

he/she criticized the Pakistani government for using various violent measures to suppress the voice of the Baloch people, hindering their freedom. he/she said, “Whether under the guise of religious extremism or in any other way, Pakistan’s involvement in these incidents is obvious.”

According to Balochistan Post, frequent attacks and enforced disappearances have created fear and terror in the minds of the Baloch people. Baloch lamented that “thousands of families who are victims of these repressive tactics are forced to live on the streets and in protest camps, begging for the lives of their loved ones.”

he/she condemned religious extremist groups supported by the Pakistani government as they divided the Baloch people and created an atmosphere of terror in the state.

Baloch also appreciated the sacrifice of the women, children and youth who gave their lives and are an inspiration to the Baloch nation.

Allah Nazar Baloch has urged the global community to support the human rights of the Baloch people against the ongoing enforced disappearances and persecution by the Pakistan Armed Forces.

Recently, activist Mehrang Baloch had also expressed grief over the death of innocent people in the Mastung bomb blast. In a post on X, he/she said, “Today’s tragic incident in Mastung has deeply saddened me, and my heartfelt condolences go out to the families of those children and others who lost their lives. We stand in solidarity with them during this difficult time.”
