Cricket stadium is named after the opener who is ready to replace Rohit Sharma

New Delhi. India has to tour Australia next month. The Indian team will play in the Border Gavaskar Trophy. The selectors have announced the team for this mega series. Opener Abhimanyu Easwaran, who has made a place in the team, is expected to make his/her Test debut in Australia. There is news that captain Rohit Sharma will be given a chance if he/she did not play in the first match due to personal reasons. There is a cricket stadium in India named after this cricketer who has scored 37 centuries in domestic cricket.

India’s tour of Australia can be special for a player. Abhimanyu Easwaran, who has scored a lot of runs in the last few years while opening for Bengal, may get a chance to make his/her Test debut. It is being told that captain Rohit Sharma may remain out of the Perth Test match against Australia due to personal reasons. In his/her place, Abhimanyu Easwaran can be seen opening the innings with Yashasvi Jaiswal.

Generally, a cricket stadium is named after a legendary cricketer who has earned name in the world of cricket. Abhimanyu is the only active cricketer who has a cricket stadium in his/her name. Ranganathan Parameswaran Easwaran, a chartered accountant by profession, wanted to fulfill his/her unfulfilled dream through his/her son. he/she built a stadium in the name of his/her son in Dehradun, where many sports matches including cricket are organised. he/she told PTI that before becoming a chartered accountant, he/she used to earn by selling newspapers and eye creams.

Abhimanyu Cricket Academy is named after Abhimanyu Easwaran, who opened the innings for Bengal. In the year 1988, father Ranganathan Parameswaran Easwaran started Abhimanyu Cricket Academy. In the year 2005, Ranganathan invested all his/her earnings to build a first-class cricket stadium in Dehradun. BCCI organizes matches in this stadium. The amazing thing is that son Abhimanyu played Ranji match in this stadium and also scored a century.

Abhimanyu Easwaran has performed brilliantly in domestic cricket. Has scored more than 600 runs in the last 6 innings, scoring 4 centuries. Scored 157 runs against India C in the Duleep Trophy, 116 runs in the first innings against India D, and 191 runs against Mumbai for Rest of India in the Irani Trophy. After this he/she scored unbeaten 127 runs against UP in Ranji Trophy.

Abhimanyu Easwaran has scored 7638 runs in 169 innings of 99 first class matches at an average of 49.92. Scored 3847 runs in 88 List A matches at an average of 47.49 and 976 runs in 33 T20 matches at an average of 37.53. Abhimanyu has scored 27 centuries in First Class, 9 in List A and 1 century in T20. Till now this batsman has scored 37 centuries in domestic cricket.
