New Delhi : Ahead of the assembly elections in Maharashtra and Jharkhand, the RSS has dispelled notions of differences with the BJP. Especially after the comment of party president JP Nadda in which he/she had said that BJP is ‘self-reliant’ and does not need the support of the Sangh. After the statement from the Sangh, it is being considered as a better sign for BJP before the elections. RSS General Secretary Dattatreya Hosabale made the Sangh’s stand clear on this issue.

On this issue in Mathura, Sangh General Secretary Dattatreya Hosabale made it clear that the Sangh understands the intentions of BJP President JP Nadda. he/she said we understand the sentiment behind his/her comments. It is about promoting freedom, not breaking ties. Referring to his/her family relationship, Hosabale said that I had gone to his/her house for food. The Sangh general secretary said that differences in the family are natural and are resolved privately. The Sangh does not get involved in public controversies.

Hosabale’s comments come after the BJP’s poor performance in the Lok Sabha elections. Following the election results, some analysts suggested that a lack of enthusiasm on the part of the RSS may have contributed to the party’s low number of seats. Hosabale, however, clarified Nadda’s stand, saying his/her message was about the BJP standing on its own feet, which is a reflection of strength, not a sign of division.

This clarification could strengthen the BJP’s campaign in Maharashtra and Jharkhand, where the RSS enjoys significant grassroots support. The strategic alignment is set to influence the elections, indicating a united front between the BJP and the RSS. Earlier, Hosabale said that he/she rejected media reports of conflict between the two organizations as an attempt to spread discord and said that unity is paramount for the success of any organization.
