PAK VS ZIM: Pakistan team announced without captain, Babar and Shaheen Afridi out


New Delhi. Pakistan Cricket Board is known for its strange decisions. Now another such step has been taken by the Pakistan Cricket Board which is in the news. The PCB announced the ODI and T20 squads for the tour of Zimbabwe and Australia on 27 October. The name of the captain has not been announced with the team selected for the tour. According to the information, PCB will reveal the name of the new ODI and T20 captain at the end of the day. Former captain Babar Azam, fast bowlers Shaheen Afridi and Naseem Shah have been rested for the Zimbabwe tour.

PCB has selected a second-tier team for the limited overs series against Zimbabwe. Wicketkeeper-batsman Mohammad Rizwan will not be a part of the T20 series. PCB said in a statement, “The selectors have followed the rotation policy for the team that has been selected. “The decision to give opportunities to domestic performers has been taken, which aligns with the team’s strategy for the ICC Champions Trophy and beyond.”

Babar’s protest against Zimbabwe
Babar Azam’s record against Zimbabwe has been excellent. So far, he/she has scored 459 runs in 9 ODI matches at an average of 114.75. he/she has scored two centuries and two half-centuries in this format. Scored 232 runs in 6 innings of T20 at an average of 38.66, which included three half-centuries.
