Canada wants to continue trade with India

Amid India-Canada diplomatic tensions, Canada’s Trade Minister Mary Ng has said that she is committed to supporting trade relations between the two countries. he/she assured the Canadian business community that the Trade Commissioner Service of Canada will continue to provide assistance and resources to companies operating in India.

Mary also said that the Government of Canada urges the Indian government to respect the principles of law and justice. Canada wants to maintain strong economic relations with India, but at the same time the safety of its citizens is also our priority. We will continue to work closely with all Canadian enterprises engaged with India to ensure that this important economic relationship remains strong, he/she said.
