Bhuvan Bam said- Now I feel that I have really come out of my limits, working in films is my dream.

Bhuvan Bam, who has gained recognition among the youth on the basis of his/her different characters on social media platforms and YouTube, is in the news these days for his/her web series Latest News. Bhuvan Bam, who came to presswire18 Times recently to meet our readers, had a special conversation with us:

You used to do all the characters and other work yourself in BB Ki Vines. But when you started acting on OTT, someone else directed you. What was that experience like?
That was a very new and good experience for me because till now I used to shoot within the four walls only. But a crew of 200 people was present on the set. In such a situation, hands and legs start trembling. For the first 10 days, I used to wake up feeling scared as to whom I would shoot with today. One day I woke up and asked, if there is a shoot tonight, who is it with? So I was told that Mahesh is with Manjrekar sir. Then I said, tell me in advance which dialogue you want to speak. There were such long dialogues. I wondered how this would happen. But when you have supportive people, even the most difficult things become easy. And the most interesting thing is that I say with pride that I was the youngest on the entire set and had the least experience in the work. This is something I am proud of and I got to learn the most.

You have spent a lot of time in Delhi. How was the experience of living here?
Every day is an experience in Delhi. A very nice and lovely incident happened to me here. There was an event, people didn’t know I was there but I had a performance there. There was my last act. So when the act ended, everyone started taking photos with me. An uncle was also taking photographs with me. I asked him/her, you know what I do. So he/she said, no, but if I take a photo with you and post it on Facebook, then someone will definitely tell what you do and who you are. Then I said wow you are a genius. he/she replied very smartly. I laughed a lot at that time. Many such stories keep happening in Delhi.

After OTT, are you also looking towards the big screen? Do you plan to appear in films also?
(Laughs) Since you have said it, it will happen now. This is a blessing for me. But I have a dream, like every child who loves cinema and acting has a dream that I too should see myself on a big screen. That is and will always be my dream too. All the energy is directed towards that. It’s not that I’m in a hurry to want this. I definitely want it but I want it with patience. I don’t think this is needed right now. I’m not thinking of pouncing. I am slowly making a way. Those who taught me on that path are Javed Jaffrey sir, Manoj Manjrekar sir, Shriya Pilgaonkar. Gradually, by learning from my friends and family, someday or the other I will definitely come on the big screen.

You are also the producer of the second part of your web series. Tell us about it.
We have made an attempt. Based on the love we received from people, we have tried to make ‘Season 2’ even better. There is a tag line in the show that where are we going? Out of proportion. For me, going beyond my limits means that I was able to make ‘Season 2’. Secondly, the person (Javed Jaffrey) whom I have grown up watching, who is my biggest icon, is not only with me today, but he/she has also agreed to work in Season 2, he/she It’s a big deal for me. Now I feel like I have really come out of my element.
