It is said that Rahul Gandhi is said to be unhappy with the process of ticket distribution and the manner of campaigning. Although he/she did not interfere too much in it. It is being said that complaints were continuously reaching him/her. During the meeting, Rahul Gandhi said that the leaders kept personal interests above in the elections.

Rahul Gandhi is very angry with the defeat

According to an important source, Rahul is said to be very angry about this defeat. he/she believes that the reasons behind the defeat should be delved into. It was decided in the meeting that a committee would be formed to review the reasons for the defeat. The committee will meet workers and leaders on the ground, take their feedback and submit its report directly to the high command. It was also agreed in the meeting that the complaints of serious irregularities in EVMs and how to take them forward was also discussed. The committee formed to review the defeat will talk to the candidates about this. It is noteworthy that Congress had complained to the Election Commission regarding EVMs that it won on EVM machines whose batteries had 90 and more charges, whereas Congress won on EVM machines with 70-80 percent charge.

High command took feedback

Congress Organization General Secretary KC Venugopal, former Rajasthan CM Ashok Gehlot, Treasurer Ajay Maken were present in the meeting, while state in-charge Deepak Bawaria, who is recuperating, joined the meeting through video call. Sources had to say that soon the Congress high command will meet senior leaders of Haryana. In fact, the factionalism and tussle between these senior leaders is also being considered responsible for this defeat in Haryana.

After the meeting, Maken said in the media that the election results of Haryana were reviewed in this meeting. You people (media) would also agree that the results were unexpected.
