Harry Brook became the new Sultan of Multan, snatched the beloved title from Sehwag, made the record of fastest triple century.


New Delhi. England’s Harry Brook has snatched the title of ‘Sultan of Multan’ from Virender Sehwag. English batsman scored a triple century against Pakistan in Multan. Harry Brook has also made the record of fastest triple century against Pakistan. his/her innings has put England in an invincible position in the Multan Test. Harry Brook was out after scoring 317 runs in 322 balls.

England’s Harry Brook gave the best performance of his/her career in the first Test match against Pakistan. he/she completed the first double century of his/her career on the fourth day of the match i.e. Thursday. Within a short time, Harry Brook converted this double century into a triple century. Thanks to this innings of Brook, England scored a mountain of 823 runs. England declared their innings after scoring 823 runs for 7 wickets. Pakistan has scored 556 runs in its first innings.

Joe Root equaled Sachin, but still far away from this record of Virat, scored a double century and made Pakistan miserable.

Multan’s biggest score
Harry Brook is the third batsman to score a triple century in Pakistan. Before him/her, only Australia’s Mark Taylor and Virender Sehwag could do this. Brook has also become the batsman who played the biggest innings in Multan. Earlier, the record of the biggest innings in Multan was in the name of Virender Sehwag. he/she played an inning of 309 runs here in 2004. Mark Taylor played an unbeaten inning of 334 runs in Peshawar.

Second fastest triple century
Harry Brook scored 300 runs in just 310 balls in the Multan Test, which is the third fastest triple century in Test history. The record of fastest triple century is in the name of Virender Sehwag. he/she completed a triple century in 278 balls against South Africa in Chennai.

454 run partnership
25 year old Harry Brook is the sixth batsman of England to score a triple century. Harry Brook made many records during his/her historic innings. There was also a partnership of 454 runs with Joe Root. This is the world record for the largest partnership for the fourth wicket. Joe Root also scored a double century in the match. he/she was out after scoring 262 runs.
