Debut in 12 years, fastest century in Youth Test in 13 years, Lal of Bihar still ignored, did not get place in the team


New Delhi. Vaibhav Suryavanshi, who is breaking cricket records at a young age, has not got a place in Bihar’s Ranji Trophy team. That too, when this 13 year old batsman had made the Indian record of scoring the fastest century in the Youth Test just a week ago. Vaibhav had made a record of debuting at the age of 12 in the last season of Ranji Trophy. he/she had made a record of playing first class matches at a younger age than cricketers like Sachin Tendulkar and Yuvraj Singh.

This year’s cricket season of India has started. Ranji Trophy matches are to be played from October 11. Bihar Cricket Association has declared a 20-member team of the state for this. Vaibhav Suryavanshi’s name is not there in it. Bihar has to play the first match of this Ranji season against Haryana in Rohtak.

There was an uproar in the selection of Bihar team in January this year also. Then two teams had reached the stadium to compete with Mumbai. At that time the Bihar vs Mumbai match took place. But the entire dispute regarding team selection later reached the High Court. However, despite this the situation has not improved. Recently, two separate training camps were organized for the Ranji team of Bihar.

Vaibhav Suryavanshi had scored a century in 58 balls in the first Youth Test against Australia Under-19 team last week. This is the record for the fastest century by any Indian in this format in Under-19 cricket. he/she hit 14 fours and 4 sixes in his/her innings of 104 runs.
