Rahul Gandhi’s Brahmastra failed in Haryana elections, Sudarshan will have to be prepared in Maharashtra and Jharkhand elections!

New Delhi: From the counting of votes so far in the Haryana Assembly elections, it has become clear that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is going to form the government in the state for the third consecutive time. According to the information available on the Election Commission website till the time of writing this news, BJP has either won 50 seats and Congress 35 seats or is leading. Analyzing the results of Haryana Assembly elections, it is found that Rahul Gandhi has lost more than Congress in this result. Let us try to understand this.

Rahul Gandhi’s Brahmastra failed!

After reading the heading, you might be thinking that what is the need of words like Brahmastra and Sudarshan in the news of election results. So let me tell you here that this election is of Haryana. This is the same state where the land of Kurukshetra is located. The Mahabharata war took place in Karukshetra itself. It was decided in the war of Mahabharata that Shri Krishna’s Sudarshan Chakra is more powerful than Brahmatra.


Actually, Guru Dronacharya’s son Ashwatthama had treacherously killed Draupadi’s five sons by going against the rules of war, after which he/she reaches Guru Vedvyas’s ashram to escape the wrath of Pandavas. When the chasing Pandavas reach there, Ashwatthama fires the infallible Brahmastra to destroy them. In response, on the advice of Shri Krishna, Arjun also gives up the Brahmastra.

After this, Guru Ved Vyas requests both the warriors to take back the Brahmastra to prevent destruction in the world. Arjun agrees to do this, but Ashwatthama does not know this art. Ultimately, Shri Krishna calms Brahmastra by using his/her Sudarshan Chakra. Since then it is believed that the cut of Brahmastra is only the Sudarshan Chakra of Shri Krishna.

Let us now divert our attention from the story of Mahabharata and take it towards today’s politics. In the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi had brought three issues as Brahmastra – farmers, soldiers and wrestlers. On the basis of this issue, India Alliance was successful in stopping BJP from 240 seats in the Lok Sabha elections.

Even during the Haryana Assembly elections, Rahul Gandhi’s three issues – farmers, soldiers and wrestlers – were promoted as Brahmastra. Not only Rahul Gandhi but the entire Congress’s campaign revolved around these three issues.

All the political pundits kept claiming that on the basis of these three issues, Congress will defeat BJP in Haryana. But when the results of Haryana elections have come, Rahul Gandhi’s Brahmastra has proved to be a complete failure.

Rahul Gandhi will have to bring ‘Sudarshan Chakra’ in the elections of Maharashtra and Jharkhand.

Now in Haryana elections, Rahul Gandhi’s three Brahmastra election issues – farmers, wrestlers and soldiers – have failed. In such a situation, Rahul Gandhi and Congress need to make fresh preparations for the Maharashtra and Jharkhand assembly elections. Also, if they have to compete with the BJP led by PM Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah, then they will have to find new issues which will prove to be the infallible Sudarshan Chakra of Shri Krishna.
