ICSSR Recruitment 2024: If you want to make a career in the field of research after completing your studies, then the Indian Council of Social Science Research (ICSSR) has started online applications for research projects. Yes, ICSSR has started the application process for Minor and Major Research Projects from October 4 on the official website icssr.org. The last date to apply is 24 October 2024.

ICSSR has brought this opportunity to researchers with the aim of promoting research in various fields of social and human sciences. The institute has invited applications for major and minor research projects. Candidates can apply for research as per their wish in the subjects like Economics/Development Studies, Management, Commerce, Sociology/Social Work/Cultural Studies, Gender Studies, Health Studies Education etc.

Research Jobs Salary: Budget

Talking about the budget of the research project, the budget for the 12 month period of the minor project has been fixed at Rs 15 lakh. The duration of the major project will be 24 months i.e. 2 years and its budget is Rs 30 lakh. Candidates will be shortlisted for research project on the basis of application. After this the candidates will be called to ICSSR for interaction/presentation etc. The list of selected candidates will be released on the official website of ICSSR.

Along with filling the online application form, candidates will also have to send the hardcopy of the offline form to the Commission, the last date of which is 31 October 2024.
