IC 814 show’s ‘Chief’ Rajeev Thakur said – People reject people sitting at home, they don’t even take auditions.

Rajiv Thakur has been doing comedy for many years and has also been a part of Kapil Sharma’s show. Currently he/she is seen in the second season of ‘The Great Indian Kapil Show’. But despite this, he/she got his/her biggest break from the series ‘IC 814: The Kandahar Hijack’. In this, he/she was very much liked in the role of terrorist chief. Everyone was surprised to see that Rajiv Thakur, who has been making everyone laugh with comedy, can also play a dangerous character in such a tremendous manner. Rajiv Thakur recently talked about this in an interview, and revealed that people used to reject him/her in the audition itself. No one gave him/her a chance, even though he/she has done theater since his/her college days. Rajiv Thakur told in an interview to ‘Hindustan Times’ that he/she kept asking people to audition him/her, but no one listened. Rather, he/she kept rejecting them while sitting at home. Because of this it took a long time for him/her to taste success. Rajiv Thakur started as a contestant in ‘Comedy Circus’ in the year 2008.

‘Sitting at home they reject that this will not happen’

Rajiv Thakur said, ‘I did theater during my college days. I keep asking people to audition me. People sit at home and reject that, oh no, this won’t happen. This role will not suit his/her image. I still insist that at least do the audition, get rejected in the office.

Rajeev Thakur said this to casting directors

he/she further added, ‘I want to tell the casting directors – there are a lot of good female casting directors today – if someone like Mukesh Chhabra (casting director) can consider me in a role like IC814, then why can’t all of you?’

‘I want to play hero as well as negative role’

Rajiv Thakur again said, ‘I have been yearning since the beginning that I want to become a hero. But this does not only mean becoming a hero, it can also be a negative or villain role. I just want to show my acting talent.
