What is the difference in salary of cricketers of India and Pakistan, Pakistan team has been playing without payment for 4 months

New Delhi. Whenever there is talk of arch rivals in cricket, the first name that comes to mind is India-Pakistan. The match between the two countries is the most watched cricket match on TV. Despite this, there is a world of difference between the cricketers and the cricket boards of both the countries. If Indian cricketers play for money, then Pakistani players sometimes yearn for salary. Let us know what is the difference in salary of cricketers of India and Pakistan.

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) contracts with male and female cricketers every year. Male cricketers were given contracts of 4 different grades last year. Players included in A+ grade are given Rs 7 crore. Match fees are not included in this. Women cricketers were given contracts of 3 different grades last year. Players included in A+ grade are given Rs 50 lakh. Match fees are not included in this.

Money is the reason for the plight of Pakistan cricket… the world is shocked by the claim of Asian ‘Bradman’

There may be a difference in the annual contracts of Indian male and female cricketers, but there is no difference in the match fees. Both the cricketers get Rs 15 lakh for playing a test match. The match fee for ODI is Rs 6 lakh and the match fee for T20 is Rs 3 lakh. BCCI is the only board after New Zealand Cricket, which pays equal match fees to its men and women players.

Pakistani cricketers get much less salary (contract money) compared to Indian cricketers. Pakistan’s top grade male cricketers get 45 lakh Pakistani rupees every month. This amount is equivalent to approximately Rs 13.60 lakh in Indian rupees. The Pakistani board also gives some part of its own revenue to the players. Despite all this, the annual contract of Pakistani cricketers barely reaches Rs 2 crore (Indian), which is not even a third of that of Virat Kohli-Rohit Sharma.
