Govinda had 0.32 bore revolver for 25 years, was planning to replace it due to damage

60-year-old actor and Shiv Sena leader Govind Arun Ahuja alias Govinda was injured by a sudden bullet fired from his/her licensed 0.32 bore revolver at his/her house in Juhu on Tuesday morning. According to Juhu police, the incident occurred at 4.45 am when he/she was checking his/her weapon before keeping it in the locker. During this, the revolver slipped from his/her hand, due to which the trigger got activated and the bullet was fired. he/she was shot in his/her right leg below the knee, which was removed by the doctors of Kriti Care Hospital, Juhu, after an hour-long surgery. According to the doctors, Govinda may have to stay in the hospital for a few days. Chief Minister Eknath Shinde also personally spoke to Govinda to inquire about his/her well being. he/she offered him/her assistance from the state government and wished him/her a speedy recovery. Juhu Police and Crime Branch are investigating the case.

ADR registered, samples collected from the spot

DCP Dixit Gedam of Zone 9 said that it was an accidental incident. Although no complaint has been lodged by the actor, Juhu Police has registered an ADR. This incident happened about a quarter of an hour before leaving for a program in Kolkata. Juhu Police will record the statements of all the witnesses related to the incident. Jahu police said that samples have been collected from the spot, which have been sent to the forensic lab for testing. The ballistic report is awaited.

Injured Govinda had called the manager and wife

According to Juhu Police, in an injured state, Govinda called manager Shashi Sinha and wife Sujata Ahuja and informed them about the incident. his/her guard called the police. Since, Govinda and his/her guards were present in the house at the time of the accident. The guard and servant admitted the actor to a local hospital, where he/she is undergoing treatment. his/her wife and other family members were in Kolkata. After the incident, security has also been tightened in the hospital.

Revolver replacement plan

Govinda’s manager Shashi Sinha told that Govinda has a licensed revolver for the last 25 years. However, he/she had been planning to replace the faulty 0.32 bore revolver for some time but had been postponing the plan to replace the revolver due to his/her busy work schedule. The record of his/her licensed revolver is also with the local police.

Khatu Shyam’s visit was two days ago

According to family sources, Govinda’s wife Sunita Ahuja had gone to Jaipur two days ago to visit Khatu Shyam. he/she came to know about this accident at 5 am on Tuesday. According to information received from hospital sources, after seeing her injured husband, Sunita expressed her gratitude towards Khatu Shyam and was expressing her gratitude by taking his/her name again and again. She was talking about her husband getting the gift of life by Baba’s grace.

Govinda was about to come to Kolkata

Govinda’s manager Saurabh Prajapati told that Sunita had come to visit Khatushyam Baba on September 29. On September 30, he/she had darshan at around 4:30 pm and on October 1, he/she was scheduled to go to Mumbai at 2 pm. But, she went to Kolkata for an event, where Govinda was also to reach on Tuesday.

Sunita reached Mumbai after four hours

Unfortunately, around 5 am on Tuesday morning, Sunita got information about her husband’s accident and she left for Mumbai directly from Kolkata. Daughter Tina Ahuja was also in Kolkata. Both of them reached the hospital in Mumbai from Kolkata four hours later. Govinda’s brother Kirti Kumar said that Govinda ji is fine. he/she will be discharged from the hospital after a few days, while nephew Vinay Anand said that his/her uncle is safe by the grace of Bajrang Bali. Nephew Krishna Abhishek is in Australia and Vinay Anand is in Mumbai.

Govinda released audio message

About four hours after the accident, Govinda issued an audio message from the hospital itself. In this he/she said, ‘With the blessings of my fans, parents and Baba (God), I am feeling better now. I was hit by a bullet which has now been removed. I thank everyone for the prayers.

The licensed revolver had fallen down while keeping it in the locker.

Govinda’s manager Shashi Sinha told that the actor had to attend a program in Kolkata. he/she had to catch a 6 am flight. Therefore he/she was about to leave his/her house at 4:45 in the morning. During that time, while keeping the licensed revolver in the locker, he/she fell down and accidentally got shot. Doctors have removed the bullet between his/her knee and ankle after surgery. his/her condition is fine. he/she is currently in the hospital and is fine.
