New Delhi. The wait for the debut of Samit Dravid, son of former Team India head coach Rahul Dravid, for India is getting longer. The India Under 19 team is facing Australia Under 19 in the 3-match Youth ODI series. In the second match played in Puducherry, the India Under 19 team defeated the Australian youth team by 9 wickets and took a 2-0 lead in the 3-match series. The third and last ODI match of the series will be played on 26 September. After this, a Test series will be played between the two teams from 30 September.

India Under 19 (IND U19 vs AUS U19) team is consistently performing well under the captaincy of Mohammad Aman. India first bowled out Australia for 176 runs. After this, India Under 19 team achieved the target of 177 runs in 22 overs. Sahil Parekh scored an unbeaten century for India. Earlier, Australia won the toss and decided to bat first. Indian bowlers attacked the Australian batsmen from the beginning. Samarth Nagaraj, Mohammad Inam and Kiran Kormol took two wickets each.

Samit will not be able to play Under 19 World Cup
Samit Dravid will not be able to play in the Under 19 World Cup to be held after two years. The next Under 19 World Cup will be held in 2026. Samit Dravid was born on 10 November 2005. he/she will celebrate his/her 19th birthday after a few months. This means that when the BCCI selectors will select the Under-19 team for the World Cup in 2026, he/she will be around 21 years old. Samit Dravid’s father Rahul Dravid also could not play the Under 19 World Cup.
