After Mukesh, Shakib, three daughters of Gopalganj are ready to make a splash in cricket, selected in Bihar U-19

Gopalganj. After India team’s fast bowler Mukesh Kumar and Saqib Hussain, who was a part of the Kolkata Knight Riders team in IPL, three more players from Gopalganj are ready to make a splash in cricket. All three are women players who have been selected in Bihar’s Under 19 Bihar team. They will play their first match against Chhattisgarh in Chennai on 1 October.

Trials for the Bihar team were held in Patna
Trials were going on in Patna last week for the selection of Bihar’s women’s under-19 team. Batsmen Khushboo Gupta and Mamta Patel of Falak Cricket Academy located in Barauli of Gopalganj and fast bowler Baby Rosie participated in it. On the basis of better performance during the trials, all three were selected for the Bihar team.

Among the selected players, two are batsmen and one is bowler
Baby Rosie of Barauli, selected for the Bihar team, is a fast bowler, Mamta Patel of Khajuria and Khushboo Kumari of Sher are right-handed batsmen. After being selected, all three players are working hard under the guidance of seniors so that they can perform better on the upcoming 1st October.

As soon as the news of selection in the Bihar cricket team was received, a wave of happiness spread among the cricket lovers of the district. Apart from family and relatives, all the three players are getting congratulations from cricket lovers across the district.
