According to the Meteorological Department, there may be light rain in some areas of the capital today. However, the temperature will not drop significantly due to rain. According to IMD, today the maximum temperature of Delhi is likely to be 33 degrees Celsius and the minimum temperature is likely to be 25 degrees Celsius.

The rainy season is going to start once again in Rajasthan. According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of rain with thunder in eastern Rajasthan on 18 and 19 September. According to IMD, a deep pressure area is formed over West Bengal and Jharkhand. This pressure area is moving westward and due to its effect, there will be rain in Rajasthan. According to the Meteorological Department, light to moderate rain may occur in Kota and Udaipur divisions today. At the same time, the weather will remain dry in most parts of western Rajasthan today, but light to moderate rain may occur in Shekhawati region and Bikaner division.

Yellow alert issued in Himachal Pradesh

Due to heavy rains in Himachal Pradesh, life has been disrupted. 53 roads have been closed in the state and five power projects have come to a standstill. The State Emergency Operations Center (SEOC) gave this information. At the same time, National Highway-5 connecting Chandigarh and Shimla has been blocked due to landslides in Solan district. However, there have been no casualties in this incident. Along with this, there has been light snowfall in the high altitude areas of Kullu and Lahaul-Spiti. Due to which the temperature has dropped in these areas. Meanwhile, the Meteorological Department has issued a ‘yellow’ alert, anticipating thunderstorms and lightning in different areas of six districts of the state. In such a situation, there is a strong possibility of thunderstorms along with rain in Himachal Pradesh today.
