Thalapathy Vijay is leaving the film world, after his/her last movie ‘Thalapathy 69’ he/she will join politics forever


Tamil actor Thalapathy Vijay will soon quit his/her film career and pursue a career in politics. But before that, Bengaluru-based distribution house KVN Productions announced on Friday that he/she has signed another film. Fans are excited that the actor will complete his/her 69th film and this will also be his/her last film before entering politics with his/her newly formed party, Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam. On Friday, KVN Productions gave an update on their ex about Vijay’s last film. They first shared a video of scenes from his/her hit films without showing Vijay’s face and wrote, ‘5 Mani-ku Sandhippom Nanba Nanbi. We are happy to announce that our first Tamil film. It is a celebration. Even the celebration has its own history.’

Later, he/she announced, ‘Love for Thalapathy. We all have grown up with your films and you have been a part of our lives at every step. Thank you Thalapathy for entertaining us for over 30 years.’ he/she also shared a video of Vijay’s interaction with fans. In the video, his/her fans are also seen talking about their association with his/her films. The production house said that the official announcement of the project will be made later.

The makers shared a poster for this on Saturday, in which a man is shown holding a torch burning with fire. The makers expressed their gratitude towards the actor and wrote, ‘The torchbearer of democracy, coming in October 2025.’ The music of the film will be composed by Anirudh Ravichander.

Vijay debuted as a lead actor in the 1992 film ‘Naalaiya Theerpu’ and went on to become one of the biggest stars in Tamil cinema. Over the years, he/she has starred in successful and hit films such as ‘Coimbatore Mappillai’, ‘Love Today’, ‘Kushi’ and ‘Ghilli’. he/she was recently seen in Venkat Prabhu’s ‘The Greatest of All Time’, which released in theatres on September 5.
