Actress Soumya accuses Tamil director of rape, narrating her ordeal she said- he/she used to call me daughter

Now Malayalam actress Soumya has accused a Tamil director of sexual harassment. Soumya told in an interview that the same director, who treated her like a daughter, sexually, mentally, physically and sexually harassed her. Soumya has also revealed the cruelty done to her. Her revelations are terrifying. It is known that after the Justice Hema Committee report, many heroines have told their horrific stories and many big directors and actors have come under its influence. Recently, a woman had accused Malayalam star Nivin Pauly of sexual harassment, while now Soumya has made a revelation.

It took 30 years to recover, narrated a horrifying story

In an interview given to NDTV, Soumya told that it took her 30 years to recover from this horrifying incident. That director used to insert a rod in her private part for entertainment. Soumya did not reveal the name of that director but narrated her hair-raising ordeal. Soumya told that she met that director for the first time when she was 18 years old.

‘In front of everyone he/she would say he/she is my daughter, on the other hand he/she would rape me’

According to Soumya, on one hand, that director considered her as his/her daughter and on the other hand, he/she raped her. he/she kept her as a ‘sex slave’. The situation became so bad that later he/she started asking her to have a child with him/her. Soumya said that she will reveal the name of that director to the same special police force which has been formed after the Hema Committee report came out. Currently, this special police force is investigating the cases of sexual exploitation and sexual harassment in the Malayalam film industry.

Soumya said, ‘One day when the director’s wife was not at home, he/she kissed me, calling me his/her daughter. I was terribly shaken. I was desperate to tell my friends, but I couldn’t. I was ashamed. I thought I had done something wrong and I was forced to be nice to this man. So I continued to go for practice, for dance rehearsals. Every day I went back and slowly that man started taking advantage of my body. At some point he/she forced himself on me. he/she raped me. This went on for a year.’

The director’s daughter had also accused him/her of rape

Soumya also claimed that the director’s daughter had also accused him/her of rape, but the director and his/her wife denied it. According to Soumya, she was scared of the director even during the shooting. She was not at all comfortable with him/her.
