Tofu Bhurji Sandwich Recipe

To make tofu bhurji, first grate the tofu. Heat 2-3 tablespoons of oil in a pan. When the oil is hot, add a teaspoon of cumin seeds. When the cumin seeds crackle, add asafoetida. Now add a chopped onion, 2-3 green chillies, a teaspoon of ginger garlic paste and fry for 2-3 minutes.
Fry the onions till they turn pink. Now add 2 tomatoes and a teaspoon of salt.

Cook until the tomatoes melt. Once the tomatoes melt, add one chopped capsicum, one teaspoon turmeric, one teaspoon red chili powder, one teaspoon coriander powder, half teaspoon garam masala and some kasuri methi. Mix everything well and fry for a minute. Now add grated tofu and mix. Cover and cook for 2-3 minutes. Let the tofu absorb the spices. Lastly, add green coriander and mix.

To make Tofu Bhurji Sandwich, take bread slices. Apply Tofu Bhurji mix on it and cover it with another slice. Now apply butter on the bread slices and grill them till they become golden brown. Your Tofu Bhurji Sandwich is ready.

Grind ½ cup oats in a grinder and put it in a bowl. Add ½ cup gram flour to it. Add ¼ teaspoon cumin or celery, ¼ teaspoon Kashmiri red chili powder and ¼ teaspoon turmeric powder. Now add finely chopped onion, chopped tomatoes, coriander leaves, finely chopped ginger, chopped green chilies. Then add salt according to taste.

Add ¾ cup water and mix the batter well. Then cover it and keep it aside for 30 minutes. Heat a tawa or flat pan on low flame. Heat some oil on it and pour the batter and spread it well. Then turn it over and cook and prepare more cheelas in the same way.

In a large airtight container, add ½ cup oats, 2 tbsp protein powder, 3 tsp cocoa powder and 3 tbsp chia seeds. Stir to combine. Add 2 cups soy milk, 3 tbsp peanut butter, 3 tsp maple syrup and 3 tbsp chocolate chips. Stir again, close the container and refrigerate for 30 minutes.

Take a bowl, mix 1 cup chickpea flour, 2 teaspoons baking powder and 3 tablespoons sugar in it and mix well so that there are no lumps left. Add half a cup of almond milk and whisk till the mixture becomes smooth. Note that chickpea flour can easily form lumps. To avoid this, whisk vigorously so that there are no lumps left.

Place a non-stick pan on medium flame, add a little oil to it. Once the oil is hot, add 2-3 tablespoons of batter. Cook on one side for 2-3 minutes and then flip.
