There is a risk in keeping a cat during pregnancy

Keep a distance from birds too

The mother-to-be should keep a distance not only from animals but also from birds. In fact, birds spread infections like Campylobacter and Salmonella.

If a woman gets infected by these, then the chances of miscarriage increase. In such a situation, if you have a pet bird in your house, then take it to the doctor to check for infection.
