The weather became pleasant due to heavy rain at many places on Wednesday. The Meteorological Department has now issued a rain alert for tomorrow as well. After the rain, waterlogging was seen at many places in Delhi-NCR. Apart from this, it rained in many states including UP, Rajasthan, Haryana, Punjab, Uttarakhand, Himachal, Maharashtra and Gujarat. There is a possibility of rain in these states tomorrow as well.

Heavy rain in Delhi, alert tomorrow too

Delhi-NCR received heavy rains on Wednesday afternoon. Meteorologists have predicted more rain in the next few hours. Heavy traffic jams were seen in many parts of Delhi including South, Central, North, New Delhi and some parts of Noida and Gurugram. The Meteorological Department said in its forecast, “Light to moderate rain, light thunderstorm, lightning and strong winds at the speed of 30 to 40 kmph are likely in Delhi in the next few hours.” The IMD has issued a ‘yellow alert’ for Delhi, which will continue tomorrow as well.

Yellow alert for heavy rain in Rajasthan

The continuous rain in many districts of Rajasthan has created problems for the people. According to the Meteorological Department, this rain will continue for the next few days. Monsoon has once again become active in Rajasthan, due to which there is intermittent rain in Jodhpur, Bikaner, Jaisalmer, Ganganagar, Hanumangarh, Churu and other districts. Due to the rain, the problem of waterlogging has arisen at many places. Drain water has entered people’s homes. There is a long jam on the roads. According to the information, it has been raining continuously for three to four days in Jaipur, Udaipur. Due to rain, the water level in dams and rivers has increased significantly. According to the Meteorological Department, a warning of heavy rain has been issued in more than 30 districts of Rajasthan on Wednesday. At the same time, monsoon is expected to remain active in Rajasthan for three to four days. The Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert for Bikaner, Jodhpur, Jaisalmer, Ganganagar, Hanumangarh, Churu and Jhunjhunu of Rajasthan on September 5.

Heavy rain alert in Telangana

The Meteorological Department has issued a warning of heavy rains in the districts of North Telangana on Wednesday. The flood-affected parts of the state are yet to recover from the devastation caused four days ago. According to the IMD, heavy rains are likely at isolated places in Komaram Bheem Asifabad, Mancherial, Jayashankar Bhupalpally, Mulugu districts. A yellow alert has been issued for these districts of Telangana. The Meteorological Department said that thunderstorms accompanied with lightning and strong winds are likely at isolated places in Adilabad, Komaram Bheem Asifabad, Mancherial, Jayashankar Bhupalpally, Mulugu, Bhadradri Kothagudem, Khammam, Mahabubabad districts of Telangana. The wind speed may be 30-40 kmph.

Rain continues in the mountains too

Along with the plains, rain continues in the hilly areas as well. Many areas of Uttarakhand and Himachal Pradesh received heavy rain on Wednesday. The risk of landslides has increased after the rain. The Meteorological Department has issued a rain alert in both the states for the next two-three days. Many roads in Himachal are closed due to rain and landslides. The Meteorological Department has issued a ‘yellow alert’ regarding thunderstorms and lightning at different places tomorrow.

Chances of rain in many districts of UP

Monsoon rains are continuing in many districts of Uttar Pradesh. On Wednesday, it rained in many places including Noida-Ghaziabad, Aligarh, Mathura, Meerut, Bulandshahr. Meanwhile, the Meteorological Department has predicted rain in many parts of the state tomorrow. According to IMD, there may be rain in Rampur, Bareilly, Pilibhit, Lakhimpur Kheri, Siddharthnagar, Maharajganj, Kushinagar, Mahoba, Jhansi and Lalitpur on Thursday. Apart from this, there are chances of rain in the districts of western UP and NCR.

It will rain in these states tomorrow

Private weather agency Skymet has also issued a forecast of rain in many states tomorrow. According to Skymet, moderate to heavy rain is possible in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana in the next 24 hours. Apart from this, there is also a possibility of rain in Rajasthan, Vidarbha, Madhya Pradesh, southern Chhattisgarh, Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Sikkim and the Northeast. The rain will continue in the states of North India including Delhi-NCR. There is a possibility of light rain in Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Bihar, eastern Uttar Pradesh, interior Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Lakshadweep, West Bengal and western Rajasthan.
