‘Khel Khel Mein’ could earn only one-fourth of its budget in 15 days, you will cry after seeing the condition of ‘Veda’ on Thursday!

Call it bad luck or the sting of clash! Out of the three big films released on the occasion of Independence Day at the box office, while ‘Stree 2’ has made a net collection of 433 crores in 15 days, ‘Khel Khel Mein’ and ‘Veda’ could not earn even 30 crores each. The condition of both these films has been bad since the opening day. Even the star power of Akshay Kumar, Taapsee Pannu, John Abraham could not impress the audience. The situation is such that while Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkumar Rao’s film has earned 766% more than its budget in two weeks, ‘Khel Khel Mein’ and ‘Veda’ are having a tough time recovering even one-fourth of their cost. ‘Stree 2’ directed by Amar Kaushik, ‘Veda’ directed by Nikhil Advani and Mudassar Aziz’s ‘Khel Khel Mein’, all three are holiday releases. Not only this, they got a four-day first weekend and right after that Raksha Bandhan and Janmashtami’s partial holiday. But except for the horror comedy ‘Stree 2’, the other two could not make any profit from it. After two weeks, ‘Stree 2’ has a net collection of Rs 433.05 crore in the country and a worldwide gross of Rs 617.25 crore. But the condition of ‘Khel Khel Mein’ and ‘Veda’ is pathetic.

Stree 2 Box Office: In two weeks, ‘Stree 2’ earned 766 percent more than its budget, money rained heavily even on the 15th day

‘Khel Khel Mein’ Box Office Collection Day 15

According to the report of sacnilk, ‘Khel Khel Mein’, made on a budget of Rs 100 crore, has made a net collection of only Rs 26.05 crore in the country in 15 days. While it has also grossed only Rs 40.75 crore worldwide. The condition of this film, adorned with stars like Akshay Kumar, Taapsee Pannu, Vaani Kapoor, Fardeen Khan and Amy Virk, is such that on Thursday, on the 15th day, it has done a business of Rs 60 lakh.

‘Veda’ Box Office Collection Day 15

On the other hand, the condition of John Abraham and Sharvari Wagh starrer action-drama ‘Veda’ is even worse. In two weeks, this film has made a net collection of Rs 20.51 crore at the Indian box office, while it has made a gross collection of Rs 26.50 crore worldwide. The budget of ‘Veda’ is said to be Rs 51 crore.

There is still time till the release of Kangana Ranaut’s ‘Emergency’

Both the films ‘Khel Khel Mein’ and ‘Veda’ are crawling at the box office. The number of their shows in theatres is also very less. Despite this, the number of viewers in their shows is 10-11%. The next big release in theatres is Kangana Ranaut’s ‘Emergency’ on 6 September. In such a situation, they have 1 more week to earn. But as the situation is, it will be meaningless to have any expectations from ‘Khel Khel Mein’ and ‘Veda’ which have proved to be disasters.
