The cricketer announced his/her retirement at the age of 26, had made his/her debut against India


New Delhi. Australia’s promising cricketer Will Pucovski has announced his/her retirement. It was not easy for Pucovski to leave cricket at the age of 26. he/she said goodbye to cricket after repeated incidents of head injury and concussion (unconsciousness due to head injury). he/she decided to retire after the suggestion of a special panel of doctors. 9 News Melbourne gave this information on Thursday. After a brilliant start in first-class cricket, Pucovski was considered the next star of Australia’s batting.

Will Pucovaski played the only Test in his/her career against India in Sydney in 2021 in which he/she scored 62 runs. During the Sheffield Shield match in March, he/she had to leave the field due to ‘concussion’ after Riley Meredith’s ball hit his/her helmet. After this, he/she could not play for the entire season and also had to cancel his/her contract to play county cricket for Lancashire. Pucovaski admitted that these injuries have affected his/her mental health.

Will Pukowski has scored 2350 runs in 36 first class matches at an average of 45.19, which includes 7 centuries and 9 half-centuries. his/her best score has been 255 not out. Pukowski has scored 333 runs in 14 List A matches, which includes a century and two half-centuries. he/she made his/her Test debut against India in Sydney in 2021, which was a draw. Pukowski, who came in as an opener, scored 62 runs in the first innings. he/she returned to the pavilion after scoring 10 runs in the second innings. This was Pukowski’s first and last Test match.
