Bangladesh beat Pakistan in their own home, took a lead of 117 runs


New Delhi. Bangladesh has strengthened its position in the first test match against Pakistan. The bowlers of the host Pakistan were seen kneeling in front of the Bangladeshi batsmen. Bangladesh has given a befitting reply to the 448 runs made by Pakistan in the first innings. Bangladesh scored 565 runs in the first innings. The visiting Bangladesh got a lead of 117 runs in the first innings. Due to this lead, Bangladesh has strengthened its hold in this test match. Experienced wicketkeeper batsman Mushfiqur Rahim missed his/her double century by just 9 runs.

Mushfiqur Rahim played an innings of 191 runs on 341 balls. he/she was moving towards his/her double century when Mohammad Ali got him/her caught by wicketkeeper Mohammad Rizwan. Wicketkeeper Liton Das was dismissed after scoring 56 runs on 78 balls while Mehdi Hasan Miraz scored 77 runs on 179 balls. Bangladesh scored 565 runs in the first innings. Opener Shadman Islam was dismissed after scoring 93 runs on 183 balls while Mominul Haque contributed 50 runs. Bangladesh has tightened its grip on this match.

Aga Salman conceded 136 runs but still did not get a wicket
For Pakistan, young pacer Naseem Shah took 3 wickets while Shaheen Afridi, Khurram Shahzad and Mohammad Ali took 2 wickets each. One wicket went to Sam Ayub. Pakistan team has entered this test match without a specialist spinner. It has played four fast bowlers. Pakistan put part-time spinner Agha Salman on the front but he/she too failed to control the Bangladeshi batsmen. Salman gave 136 runs in 41 overs and did not get any success.
