Box Office: ‘Stree 2’ reached close to 150 crores in the first weekend, huge earnings on the third day

The tsunami that Amar Kaushik’s horror-comedy ‘Stree 2’ has brought to the box office as soon as it was released has surprised everyone. The film has become a blockbuster. It has recovered its cost in just two days and if the earnings of the third day are included, it has earned three times the budget. Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkumar Rao starrer ‘Stree 2’ had a tremendous opening of Rs 51.8 crores on its release on August 15, and now it has earned Rs 43.85 crores on the third day. At the same time, its earnings worldwide have reached close to 200 crores. Now it is just a few steps away from this figure. Stree 2 third day collection and total earnings

According to the report of sacnilk, ‘Stree 2’ earned Rs 43.85 crore on the third day i.e. Saturday. In this way, ‘Stree 2’ has done a business of Rs 135.7 crore in the country in the first weekend itself. Due to the second day being a working day compared to the opening day, the film’s earnings fell by 39.38%, but on the third day it jumped and earned well with a growth of 39.65%.

Being the first day of the weekend on Saturday, the overall occupancy of ‘Stree 2’ was 61.96%. It increased to 35.47% in morning shows, 62.14% in afternoon shows, 69.55% in evening shows and 80.69% in night shows.

Stree 2 broke the opening day records of all the films released on 15 August. It beat Gadar 2 (40.10 crores), Ek Tha Tiger (32.93 crores), Singham Returns (32.10 crores), Mission Mangal (29.16 crores) and Tiger 3 (44.5 crores). It has become the fifth highest-grossing Indian film on opening day. Akshay Kumar’s Khel Khel Mein also released at the box office along with Stree 2, but it seems to be a flop.
