Actress Mamta Kulkarni has got a big relief in the 8-year-old drugs case. The Bombay High Court has dismissed the drugs case registered against Mamta Kulkarni in 2016. In a recent hearing, the court said that the proceedings against Mamta Kulkarni made no sense and were disturbing. In such a situation, continuing it would be like abusing the process of the court. According to ‘PTI’, the division bench of Justice Bharti Dangre and Justice Manjusha Deshpande in an order passed on July 22 quashed the FIR registered against Mamta Kulkarni in the drugs case. It also said that it is a clear opinion that the evidence collected against Mamta Kulkarni does not prima facie constitute any crime against her.

Bombay High Court said that continuing the case against Mamta Kulkarni is an abuse of the court process. Also, this is a perfect case in which the court can use its power to quash the FIR because its proceedings are frivolous and vexatious.

Mamta Kulkarni had filed a petition and said- I was framed
